Can I purchase personalized signed copies anywhere? Yes, a personalized signed copy of any of my books can be purchased by contacting Tracy at Feathers Gift Shop!
I can personalize/sign them to your liking, and you can go and pick them up and pay for them at Feathers if you're local. If you need them to be shipped, additional charges will be added to cover shipping.
Do you have a Newsletter? Yes. I'm not very good at keeping up with it, but if you'd like to see any of the past messages, you can check them out here.
Why do authors ask me to review their books? Reviews help authors get noticed, appear in searches, look more credible, and (quite frankly when they're positive) feel good for our hard work. Especially for indie authors, sometimes we feel like we're begging for reviews all the time, but they really help. And even if you don't have time to write one, if you use Goodreads or Amazon (any website), even just clicking on one of the stars helps. Some of the best reviews happen on personal social media and through word of mouth to friends. So if you've read a book that you really like, tell someone! The author will really appreciate it!
When will your next book be out? I don't know. As of January 2, 2025, I'm about to do a final (?) read through before I query agents. I hope to continue the query process by the beginning of February.
You're also an editor? Yes, I've always had impeccable attention to detail. I use that skill daily in my job as Cataloging and Acquisitions Librarian. While earning my bachelor's degree in English, I took a copy reading and editing course. In addition to editing my own books (with the help of family and friends), I've copyedited manuscripts for author friends too. I recently finished (Nov. 26, 2024) a six-week course called The Keys to Effective Editing and would like to pick up some part-time and/or freelance editing jobs.
